I really like Canon Photo Printers and have had very good luck with them. They make a wide variety of models as well as lots of cameras. I prefer their printers to their cameras personally!
If you just want to be able to print an occasional photo, it's tough to go wrong with the Canon Selphy CP780, a great little printer for under $100. Great reviews and it simply works.
It can print direct from camera, memory cards, and wireless Bluetooth printing as an optional add on as well. It prints a standard 4x6" photo in less than a minute, and can prints without borders in Credit Card, 4x6”, and 4x8” sizes as well as mini and full labels.
It includes "Portrait Image Optimization" which adjusts the brightness and contrast of faces and auto red-eye correction to minimize red-eye when flash photography is used.
Do you need a portable unit, maybe one to take on vacation
or one that takes up very little space? In that case the
Canon Selphy ES30
rocks and even has a built-in handle for real portability! It's compatible
with plenty of memory cards, has a 3.0 LCD display
I love the cartridges which have both ink and paper. You can never run out of just ink or paper, perfect for a portable unit!
Or do you need an all in one device that prints, scans,
and faxes? Lots of options here. I like the Canon PIXMA MX330 Inkjet All-In-One Printer
as do many reviewers. The price is tough to beat, it'll printer directly
from a camera, and it also handles standard and legal sized paper as well as
standard photo stock. It's a great little all in one printer, but let me add
the caveat that if you are going to print hundreds or thousands of pages,
well this little device is not designed for that.
There are plenty of other models of Canon photo printers as well, but these are my top picks! I like them and so do most other reviewers.
